The Central Weather Bureau issued a heavy rain special report for 10 counties and cities, with the possibility of localized heavy rain in northern Hsinchu, Nantou, Miaoli, and central mountainous areas. Areas under the heavy rain special report include Keelung City, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Nantou County, Yunlin County, and Chiayi County. Severe thunderstorm warnings were also issued for specific districts in Taipei City and New Taipei City, with alerts for potential flooding, landslides, and strong winds.
