After the 'Five Laws on Parliamentary Reform' passed the third reading in the Legislative Yuan, the Executive Yuan submitted a reconsideration document to President Lai Ching-te, who approved it on June 11. The document arrived at the Legislative Yuan at 5:30 pm yesterday. The Nationalist Party's caucus leader, Fu Kun-chi, held a press conference today, stating that they have requested Legislative Yuan President Han Kuo-yu to convene a consultation among party members and will ask Premier Su Tseng-chang to explain and respond at the meeting. The Nationalist Party hopes for smooth discussion and resolution next week during the session, expressing regret over the perceived lack of friendliness towards the parliament's autonomy and representation of the people's will in handling the reconsideration.
