During the parliamentary session on June 29, 2024, there were continuous debates in the Legislative Yuan, potentially leading to an ad hoc meeting. The Nationalist Party group decided to prioritize creating an investigation team to probe the Mirror Media case and the Super Thinking Purchase Egg case over establishing an investigative committee as suggested by the People Party group. Regarding the National Communications Commission (NCC) personnel approval case, the Nationalist Party group planned to address it in a later ad hoc meeting in late August due to procedural regulations. They also emphasized the importance of forming investigation teams for flexibility in the current stage. The process of setting up such teams does not face the same one-month freeze period that occurs during the proposal of investigative committees, thus enabling quicker action on the cases.
