On June 25, 2024, at 11:05 PM, the Democratic Progressive Party caucus held a press conference at the Legislative Yuan to explain the '7 major reasons' for the application of the 'Constitutional Amendment for Parliamentary Reform,' with the party, presidential office, Control Yuan, and Executive Yuan all 'launching four arrows.' However, during the press conference, Nationalist Party Legislator Cindy Hsu went to 'eavesdrop' outside the Democratic Progressive Party caucus office, even measuring that there was a 100 cm distance between herself and the door of the office. This move was made in support of Kuomintang legislator Chen Yu-chen who had clashed with the Democratic Progressive Party caucus the day before. Hsu argued that it was reasonable for Chen to want to listen to the press conference, emphasizing that if the DPP caucus was concerned about surveillance, then they should close the door of the press conference to prevent people from seeing it.
