On June 14, 2024, Nationalist Party legislators successfully pushed for amendments to the party property regulations to be reviewed by a committee in the Legislative Yuan. Nationalist legislators called out Democratic Progressive Party legislators Yang Yao and Lin Daihua for not attending and abstaining from voting, indicating internal contradictions within the Democratic Progressive Party. The Nationalist Party criticized the Democratic Progressive Party's past handling of party property regulations, stating that it had violated the constitution and disrupted governance. They urged the newly appointed government and Democratic Progressive Party to stop arbitrarily confiscating people's property under the guise of 'political pursuit' and infringing on property rights. The Nationalist Party condemned the Democratic Progressive Party for targeting various civic organizations over the past eight years and accused them of confiscating private property without due process, questioning the fairness and justice of such actions. They highlighted the dangers of allowing the government to arbitrarily seize people's property without judicial oversight, stating that it would be a great tragedy for the democratic rule of law in the Republic of China.
