NATO's 'Baltic Ops 24' Joint Exercise Intimidates Russia

From June 7th to 20th, the NATO Maritime Strike and Support Forces (STRIKFORNATO) conducted the 'Baltic Ops 24' (BALTOPS 24) joint exercise in the waters near Klaipeda Port in western Lithuania, involving 20 countries, 9,000 personnel, 59 ships, 85 aircraft, and numerous drones. The exercise, focusing on deterrence and defense strategies in the European-Atlantic region, featured surface warfare, anti-submarine, air defense, mine clearance, amphibious landings, and air-ground coordination. The massive participation of forces aimed to send a clear deterrence signal to Russia.
