The Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation released an immediate poll in June on whether people support the Administrative Yuan proposing to reconsider the Parliament reform. The poll showed that 52% support the proposal, while 34% do not. The foundation's chairman, You Yinglong, mentioned that the Administrative Yuan's move has substantial public support, especially from supporters of the Democratic Progressive Party. The poll also analyzed support across age groups, educational backgrounds, occupations, and regions, with most showing majority support for the Administrative Yuan's proposal.
