During rush hour and after school hours on July 1, 2024, in Taipei's Da'an District, police discovered a car parked in the opposite direction on a pedestrian crossing. The driver refused inspection, escaped in the opposite direction, ran red lights, and almost hit a baby stroller. After being caught, the police issued 20 tickets. The suspects were found with a folding knife and illegal drugs. The police urge the public to obey traffic rules to ensure road safety and cooperation with inspections to avoid dangerous incidents.
