In Changhua, Taiwan, police received a tip-off about a strong foul odor coming from a townhouse in Hemei Town believed to be linked to cannabis cultivation. Upon investigation, they found an unoccupied upper floor filled with cannabis plants and growing equipment, with a wardrobe serving as a grow room. A total of 51 cannabis plants were discovered, leading to the arrest of a 48-year-old man and two others for violating drug laws. The suspects tried to hide the cannabis by growing it inside the wardrobe and maintaining a consistent temperature with additional lighting, but the smell alerted vigilant neighbors who reported the situation to the police.
