At the 2024 U.S. Women's Open in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, World No. 1 Nelly Korda missed the cut despite improving her score by 10 strokes in the second round, finishing 10 over for the tournament. A surprising number of top players also missed the cut, including Ariya Jutanugarn, Rose Zhang, Ingrid Lindblad, In Gee Chun, Brooke Henderson, Jennifer Kupcho, and others. Only four players finished the first two rounds under par, with Thailand's Wichanee Meechai leading the way at 4 under.
