CTWANT Weekly | Xue Mengjie June 13, 2024. The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Central Committee launched the 'The Boss Told Me to Go Live' online program, with DPP spokesperson Wu Zheng confirming that the program was personally instructed by Lai Ching-te, allowing only success and no failure. Minister of Agriculture Chen Junji recently claimed that those labeled '1450' were propagating agricultural policies and not government-funded net armies. Lai Ching-te, following the DPP's governance approach, gradually sidelined the well-known 'pro-Anglo net army' while the marginalized 'new trend net army' was unfrozen, reorganized, and will become the main force of the pro-Lai net army. The DPP's deployment of net armies, recognized by the prosecution in the former diplomat 'Su Tsai-cheng suicide case,' saw a shift in key figures amid Lai Ching-te's presidency stint due to conflicting interests between the pro-Anglo and new trend net armies. The new trend net army, known for grooming talent and strict discipline, is seen as a force that does not hesitate to do whatever it takes to win, as demonstrated during the parliamentary reform bill process. Future departmental propaganda budgets are expected to increase, with continued efforts to recruit the hesitant pro-Anglo net army members and face challenges from the opposition party in securing net army funding, following the precedent of '1450.'
