Despite returning to Taiwan and clarifying his intentions, Yao Le continues being questioned on social media, prompting him to express frustration with narratives being fabricated based on a few photos. The online community has begun speculating on which Taiwanese net idols might become free ambassadors for China's external propaganda efforts, with Yao Le being named due to his attendance at a youth business exchange event in Hangzhou. Yao Le responded with a lengthy post, emphasizing that all expenses were self-funded and rejecting claims of being invited by a United Front Work Department official. He concluded by stating he does not wish to address the issue further.
