Starting from July 1, the new cosmetic management regulations will require operators to complete registration in order to manufacture, sell, import, or even gift products, with a maximum fine of 1 million New Taiwan Dollars for violators. The regulations will no longer distinguish between specific and general use cosmetics, implementing a unified registration system for simplified management. Operators must register their products on the Cosmetic Product Registration Platform System before marketing, or face fines ranging from 10,000 to 1 million NTD and possible continuous penalties.
