On his one-month anniversary in office, Environment Minister Peng Qiming announced plans to introduce the draft of the 'Resource Circulation Promotion Act' by the end of the year, in line with the establishment of the National Climate Change Response Commission. Peng emphasized on enhancing interdepartmental coordination and public-private dialogues. He also highlighted the importance of promoting carbon pricing and transitioning towards a net-zero economy, aligning with international standards.
