New Fortress Energy Inc. (NFE) is in negotiations to secure additional liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for its import facilities throughout the Americas, as reported during the Gastech 2025 conference in Milan. This comes after the company signed a seven-year LNG supply agreement with Puerto Rico, enhancing its existing 25-year deal related to a new power plant. NFE is also expanding its Fast LNG project in Mexico, which has already begun production.
