As of June 29, 2024, the income of the wealthiest village in the country has risen significantly in the tech-rich community of Hsinchu. According to the latest release of the Ministry of Finance's 111th annual comprehensive income tax statistics booklet, the average comprehensive income in Hsinchu City and Hsinchu County continues to surpass Taipei City. In 2022, Guanxin Village in the eastern district of Hsinchu City had an average total comprehensive income of 4.611 million, maintaining its status as the wealthiest village in the country and exceeding the 4.6 million mark. With a 23% growth compared to the average income of 3.747 million in 2022, Guanxin Village's income has seen significant growth in just one year.
