Lionsgate has announced that Suzanne Collins' newly revealed fifth book in 'The Hunger Games' series, set 24 years before the original events, will be made into a movie titled 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping' to be released on November 20, 2026. The prequel explores the 50th Hunger Games, known as the Second Quarter Quell, and will be directed by Francis Lawrence, who worked on the previous films in the franchise.
