To strengthen the protection of non-typical laborers' rights, the Ministry of Labor announced a consensus with the Ministry of Economic Affairs on June 11, 2024, to add new requirements for the inspection of domestic applications for outward investments by listed companies. This includes commitments towards dispatched and contracted employees, understanding their labor compliance, ensuring legal working conditions during the contract period, and disclosing the execution situation in annual and sustainability reports. This initiative aims to protect the rights of the 590,000 dispatched workers and ensure compliance with labor laws by companies engaging in foreign investments.
