A New Jersey couple, Paul and Sabrina Gomez, were sitting in their Patterson home backyard when a large chunk of ice fell from the sky, damaging their roof. The incident, which left a gaping hole, occurred at 9:30 p.m. The couple suspects the ice fell from a passing plane and have filed a claim with the FAA for investigation. This alarming event came nearly a year after a similar incident in Massachusetts involving a chunk of ice hitting a home.
