New Jersey regulators fined DraftKings $100,000 for inaccurately reporting sports betting data, leading to the correction of New Jersey sports betting data for several months and causing Resorts Digital to file incorrect sports betting tax returns. The errors, involving overstatements and understatements of wagered amounts, were considered unacceptable conduct by the state Division of Gaming Enforcement, resulting in DraftKings implementing additional controls and training to prevent future issues.
