Carol Moseley Braun, the first Black woman elected to the U.S. Senate, is releasing a new memoir titled 'Trailblazer: Perseverance in Life and Politics.' The book, co-written with Donna M. Owens, will cover her childhood, election to the Senate, and work as a U.S. Ambassador. It will also delve into her career milestones, challenges faced, and relationships with notable figures like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Hillary Clinton. The memoir is set to be released on Jan. 21, 2025.
