Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation released a survey showing 51.9% of the public supports the Executive Yuan's review of 'Parliamentary Reform,' with a strong base of public opinion. This indicates a significant level of support for the Executive Yuan's proposal to review legislative reforms related to Parliament in the Legislative Yuan. Ke Chien-ming, the DPP's chief convener, criticized People First Party chairman Ko Wen-je for appropriating the name of the late democratic figure Jiang Wei-shui but going against democratic principles, urging for a revival of 'party democracy' within the People First Party.
