Starting on June 30, 2024, Taoyuan City's new registration system for public childcare facilities opens for registration, with parents of infants aged between 2 months and under 2 years reminded to register online on the 'Taoyuan Parenting Resources Website' from today until July 10. Each child can only register for a maximum of 2 public childcare facilities or home-based care centers, and once enrolled, they cannot apply for others. The city has actively set up 48 public childcare facilities since 2014, and a lottery draw for candidates is planned on July 17, with the results announced the same day and effective from August 1 to July 31 of the following year.
