To assist young people in solving housing purchase issues, the government introduced the New Qing-an policy, which led to speculation, shell companies, and subletting that did not align with the policy's original purpose. In response, the Executive Yuan approved the Ministry of Finance's measures for loan verification and optimization on June 27th, including requiring new borrowers to sign a self-occupancy affidavit and imposing a one loan per person limit. The government aims to ensure that the loan program serves the intended purpose of helping families purchase homes for self-occupancy without resale or speculative activities.
