The latest youth home purchase policy, New Qing-An, aiming to assist families without their own homes to purchase residences, has seen a significant increase in applications in May, reaching 8,476 households, marking a new high in nearly 9 months, with total applications exceeding 420,000 households and commitments surpassing over 1 trillion NT dollars. Despite criticism for possibly inflating the housing speculation trend, the policy continues to see strong participation from banks and is expected to reach another peak in June.
