On June 20, 2024, the Ministry of Finance and eight major banks are adjusting the pre-loan review, post-loan management, and inspection aspects to address the misuse issues like fake borrowers and subletting under the 'Youth Housing Annuity Program'. New borrowers who violate the regulations will have their interest subsidies canceled and must refund the entire amount. Existing borrowers will not be retroactively affected due to varying terms in their signed agreements with banks. The meeting also discussed collaboration with government agencies for data cross-checking and measures to enhance pre-loan review, post-loan management, and inspection by public banks.
