Starting from July, the government has implemented several new measures all related to public interests, including 8 minor traffic offenses not open to public reporting, the YouBike violation point system in Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan, promoting tourism in the Hualien area with 'Agricultural Vouchers', free distribution of 3 million rapid tests, and the implementation of Property Hoarding Tax 2.0, which now taxes non-self-occupied homes across the nation with a rate ranging from 2% to 4.8% while reducing the tax rate for single self-occupied homes from 1.2% to 1%.
