A report revealed that a Xinhua News Agency journalist was heavily involved in a political talk show produced by a Taiwanese TV station, even monitoring the show closely. Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council confirmed the incident, and the journalist has been recalled, with an investigation to be conducted by the Ministry of Culture. If any violations are found, related press credentials will be revoked and legal actions taken. The Ministry of Culture stated that they have approved 10 media outlets from China to station reporters in Taiwan, with a total of 7 reporters, and emphasized the process for granting entry permits and press cards to foreign journalists.
