In New Taipei, a man surnamed Li brought his pregnant wife to the 'Eli Maternity Clinic' for childbirth five years ago. During the process, the wife's uterus ruptured, leading to heavy bleeding. The attending physician, Dr. Huang Huangzhou, performed an emergency C-section but the baby boy did not survive. Dr. Huang was charged with involuntary manslaughter and causing serious injury due to negligence. However, the court ruled insufficient evidence to convict Dr. Huang and acquitted him. The judgment stated that the evidence did not prove Dr. Huang had negligence in the treatment process of the pregnant woman, leading to the tragic outcome.
