Kuomintang New Taipei City Councilor Chen Wei-Jie criticized the unfair distribution of central tax payments and highlighted that Kaohsiung City received nearly a quarter of the budget in the third phase of the Forward-looking Projects, with Mayor Chen Chi-mai claiming the unfair treatment, suggesting relocating the capital to Kaohsiung. The call was made for a fair distribution of budgets nationwide and a need to revise the Finance Act, urging bipartisan support.
