Reported about 1 year ago
When Jiang Xinchang was released on bail, reporters asked if he orchestrated the social media post, to which he shook his head in silence. During last year's legislative election, an article on Dcard hinted at New Taipei's 4th electoral district candidate Wu Bingrui committing sexual assault against a female intern. Wu Bingrui claimed it was a smear campaign and filed a lawsuit. Investigation linked the alleged social media poster to Xiao Zhijun, currently detained in Taipei. Further probe implicated Jiang Xinchang, son of New Taipei City's councilor, in the case, leading to his bail release with a 1 million NT dollar bond.
