New Taipei City Mayor Hou Yu-yi is focusing on issues related to the rights and interests of police and firefighters, adjusting police force allocation, and speeding up the construction of new office buildings. With the city's population increasing annually, especially in areas like Tamsui District, the city government has secured a budget for 152 additional police officers and is planning appropriate human resource allocations following the completion of new police substations. Mayor Hou is also addressing concerns such as insufficient office space at police stations and efforts to prevent youth involvement in fraud cases by collaborating with different city departments.
