Around 300 college students have officially started their summer internships at the New Taipei City Government. The Youth Bureau of the city government arranged a pre-job briefing session where they engaged in career exploration activities to understand their career development better. Chiu Chao-Mei, the director of the Youth Bureau, encouraged the interns to observe, understand, and communicate during their work with enthusiasm, reminding them that growth comes from various attempts. The event also featured sharing sessions from past interns who gained problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of public service through their experiences. The interns were also inspired by Rui-Fu Chang, the third-generation successor of Wan Xiu Laundry, who shared his experience of reviving forgotten values in old garments and accumulating over 700,000 followers on Instagram for sustainable fashion. The Youth Bureau aims to cater to the diverse needs of young people and invites them to follow their platform for various resources and opportunities.
