New Taipei City's Xinzhuang District held a ceremony for the opening of the MRT Xingfu Station multi-story car park, offering 109 car spaces and 423 motorcycle spaces. Mayor Hou Yu-yi announced that the car park will operate on a trial basis for one month starting today at 6:00 PM with free parking, encouraging people with parking needs and those transferring to use it. The car park is the first in New Taipei City to be connected to an MRT station and collaborate with Chunghwa Post for mailbox services, providing convenience to residents without on-site managers. The facility features clear signage, smart parking equipment, including license plate recognition, smart car locating, multiple payment methods, and three charging stations for electric vehicles, ensuring safety and convenience. The car park will be free until July 31, then charge hourly rates for cars, and monthly rates for both cars and motorcycles from August 1 onwards.
