New Taipei City Mayor Hou Yu-ih attended the opening ceremony of the 123rd public daycare center, 'Yingge Fongming Public Daycare Center,' marking the second public daycare center in Yingge District. The center can accommodate 40 infants aged 0 to 2. Registration for daycare spots is open until July 23, with a lottery planned if demand exceeds capacity. Mayor Hou highlighted New Taipei City's leading position in public daycare services nationwide, with plans to establish five more centers this year to create a child-friendly city.
