Hsinchu City government disclosed the results of its public sector summer intern program with 103 students from nearly 300 applicants accepted, aiming to help youth gain valuable experience in public service and cultivate workplace skills. Mayor Gao Hong-an encouraged participants to learn about public sector operations and enhance their employment readiness, while Labor Department Chief Lin Yu-chih emphasized the importance of the internship for developing job-seeking skills. The internship begins on July 1 with an orientation session at the City Tax Building, where accepted students are required to provide necessary documents. Among the students, one expressed excitement for the opportunity and expressed eagerness to contribute during the nearly two-month internship.
