Reported 12 months ago

In order to ensure the safety of teenagers engaging in various activities, promote their physical and mental development, reduce crimes and victimization, and purify the environment for teenagers' growth, the Zhonghe Police Substation in New Taipei City has planned to expand inspections before the summer vacation. The expansion of inspections will target places where teenagers often gather, locations prone to fights, and areas with drug use. Through proactive checks and inspections, the police aim to maintain order and protect teenagers from dangers like drugs, fights, speeding, and illegal racing during the summer break. The substation chief, Zhao Jiahui, reminds parents to pay attention to their children's activities and prevent them from visiting inappropriate places, while also cautioning teenagers about new drugs and the risks of being lured into criminal activities by gangs or fraud groups. Law enforcement will intensify efforts in combating drugs, fraud, child sexual exploitation, and organized crime, focusing on inspecting internet cafes, electronic game centers, KTVs, nightclubs, and other venues where teenagers gather during the summer, in order to prevent crimes and eliminate criminal factors.
