In New Taipei City's Bali District, a garbage truck lost control and crashed into a power pole on June 28 around 11:00 a.m. The co-driver was trapped with a fractured leg, but was rescued by emergency personnel. As a result of the damaged power pole, around 1487 households in the vicinity were left without electricity. The incident led to a temporary power outage for the affected households, while Taiwan Power Company dispatched representatives for repairs.
