New Taipei Kings Chairman Wang Wenxiang announced the establishment of the 'New Alliance' and revealed that two major alliances, PLG and T1 Alliance, have shown intention to join with a total of nine teams, along with one team from Southeast Asia. However, the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association stated that the formation of a third or new alliance is not within its current plans. The association emphasized the importance of integration and collaboration between the existing two leagues to safeguard the rights and interests of teams and players, striving to achieve consensus and move forward together.
