The 18th New Taipei City ‘Labor Star’ singing contest is now open for registration until July 31, with the total prize money increased to 360,000 yuan. The competition has also expanded the eligibility criteria to include migrant workers with good singing voices who are legally employed in Taiwan. The contest aims to provide a platform for workers to showcase their talents and promote leisure and work-life balance. Various cash prizes and awards will be given to winners. Both local workers in New Taipei City and foreign workers legally employed in Taiwan over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.
