Reported 12 months ago

In New Taipei City, a man named Wu was viciously attacked by three assailants with batons and knives in the early hours of July 2. Wu, who was left bleeding profusely from his leg, was assisted by police who applied pressure to stop the bleeding before he was safely transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The attack was reportedly sparked by Wu failing to repay a 1000 NT debt, leading to a confrontation where Wu provocatively challenged the creditor as the situation escalated into violence.
