A man surnamed Lin who had been missing for 2 days after falling from Hua Jiang Bridge was found dead in the river near Hua Jiang Pier in New Taipei City. He was initially rescued from the water by officials who arrived at the scene upon receiving a report, but was pronounced dead on site. Prior to this incident, Lin had a heated argument with his wife and left his home, threatening to end his life. The cause of death is still pending further investigation by authorities.
