A new telemedicine guideline, the 'Communication Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines,' will be implemented in July, potentially benefiting around 7 million patients. This new guideline expands telehealth services to include chronic disease management, end-of-life care, correctional institution care, disaster and infectious disease management, and more. Initially focusing on stable chronic disease patients like hypertension and diabetes, virtual health insurance cards and electronic prescriptions will allow patients to receive medications directly from community pharmacies. The implementation of these guidelines is expected to increase the demand for digital communication tools in healthcare institutions.
