New York Metropolitan Opera House First Asia Tour with Special Props

Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin led the New York Metropolitan Opera Orchestra to Taiwan for the last stop of their Asian tour, marking the orchestra's first performance in Taiwan. Nézet-Séguin, who also leads the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, expressed his joy in strengthening relationships among the three orchestras and promoting classical music inclusivity. The tour features a mix of classical and contemporary works, including new compositions like Montgomery's 'Praise to All'. Nézet-Séguin also hinted at a future production of Verdi's 'Aida' during the Met Opera's upcoming season for a perfect start to 2025.
