Hsinchu's Pu-Ding Village Chief, He Zhi-Ning, was harassed by a drunk man in Tokyo during her recent trip to Japan. Despite the harassment and being groped, she fought back, sought help from the police, and when asked if she would return to Japan, she replied positively. He Zhi-Ning, in her IG post, emphasized that she appreciates the efforts of the Japanese police in capturing the suspect and still loves Japan, reminding people not to judge an entire country by the actions of one individual. The incident has prompted messages of support and caution from netizens and even Japanese nationals apologizing for the event.
