Nigeria's central bank Governor Olayemi Cardoso expressed optimism that the worst of naira volatility is over and mentioned the progress made in stabilizing the currency. Steps taken, including interest rate hikes and exchange rate policies overhaul, have helped stabilize the naira despite it being the world's worst-performing currency. Cardoso highlighted the importance of reviving confidence in the currency to attract investors and hinted at further measures, like a eurobond issue, to boost foreign exchange reserves.
