The Nigerian military revealed on June 27 that between April and June, they had eliminated 2,245 terrorists, arrested 3,682 criminals, rescued 1,993 kidnapped hostages, and seized 2,783 weapons along with a large amount of ammunition. They also recaptured stolen oil and petroleum products worth 10 billion naira (about $210 million), from armed groups including Boko Haram and ISWAP. The operations aimed at combating terrorism and recovering stolen resources were carried out in different regions of Nigeria.
