Taipei City experienced consecutive afternoon thunderstorms with rain reaching 40 millimeters on July 8th, affecting various districts including Wenshan, Nangang, Neihu, Xinyi, and Daan. During these storms, two incidents of fallen trees were reported at the junctions of Zhuangjing Road and Jian Guo South Road Section 1. Fortunately, there were no injuries in either case; emergency services responded promptly to clear the fallen branches and redirect traffic. Authorities are expected to remain vigilant due to the ongoing heavy rain forecast.
