On June 24, a 40-story office building in Foshan, Guangdong, experienced two mysterious shaking incidents at noon and in the afternoon. Office workers on higher floors reported feeling as if they were on a boat, with the building's floor shaking. Despite no earthquake alerts from the Guangdong Earthquake Monitoring Center that day, authorities confirmed the building's main structure was safe and initiated further monitoring and investigation. The Foshan Vanke Financial Center, where the shaking occurred, houses over 100 companies and receives thousands of visitors daily, leading local authorities to reassure the public by promising continued monitoring of the building's structure for safety.
