No More Worries About Phone Privacy! iOS 18 Rumored to Add App Lock Feature

Reported 7 months ago

According to reports from MacRumors, iOS 18 is expected to introduce a new App Lock feature for iPhones, allowing specific apps to be protected with a password that is separate from the screen unlock code. Users can customize the password and even unlock the apps using Face ID. This additional layer of security means that even if the phone is lost, accessing specific app information would require both the screen unlock code and the app unlock code. However, it is currently known that this feature applies to built-in apps like Notes, Mail, Photos, Phone, Settings, and Safari, with uncertainty regarding third-party apps from the App Store. The WWDC 24 event will also bring new AI applications under 'Apple Intelligence' and potential upgrades for Apple Watch and AirPods.
